Our Story
We are disc golf enthusiasts from Virginia, and we have dreams of manufacturing our own line of disc golfs someday. Hopefully the sales of our Himalayan NFT collection will take us one step closer to that goal.
What are our Primary Goals?
Disc Golf is one the few sports that truly incorporates art. Google ‘disc golf discs’ and you will come across discs that have high degree of artistry. By creating the first disc golf NFT collection, we want to inspire artists to create NFTs. Most NFT projects are digital art without further application. We want to take step further. We want to connect digital arts to the real-world application. We want physical disc golf manufacturers to notice NFTs. Next, the manufacturers would acquire the NFTs, if they want rights to manufacture and sell the physical discs. This would be a win-win situation for the artists, manufacturers, and also consumers. Digital creators are encouraged to showcase their work on DiscGolfNFTs.com.
Other Goals
Disc Golf has skyrocketed in popularity since the pandemic started. Professional Disc Golf tournaments have even got television airtime on CBS Sports and ESPN2! Why did it gain in popularity? Probably for four reasons: it can be played by maintaining social distancing, the discs are affordable ~$10-15, disc golf courses are everywhere and they are free, and lastly, it is lot of FUN. We want to introduce NFT enthusiasts to disc golf and vice-versa. We also want more people to join the disc golf revolution and live an active lifestyle.
